mossy trees, misty rain, still waters of dove lake, cradle mountain location, not a single person to be in seen, complete natural serenity. these are more than a few of my favourite things.

the story behind the story behind the picture
the full story is contained in the very first post, but essentially this blog is a virtual 'show and tell', a slideshow of my favourite digital photos reflecting my life, travels, experiences, or simply the beauty or interest i see in an everyday object - with some accompanying text to provide some insight, context and background to the picture and my reason for taking it.

- born in hobart, tasmania in 1976. moved to the nation's capital canberra in 2000 after completing my undergrad degree. currently working for the feds, i have studied a little (too much) more, travelled a lot (but never enough) more. all in all life is pretty bloody good i have to say.
